I moved to Brooklyn, New York in the spring of 1992 and have been working and living in Brooklyn ever since. I still find I am influenced by the wooded area like the ones where I grew up with in Pennsylvania. Even though I have lived a considerable part of my adult life in the city I see echoes of organic form in my work and am still drawn to photographing plants and trees. My love of people and the adventure of new experience is what drew me to the city. I attribute my sense of design to the natural beauty I was exposed to everyday as a child. Regardless of the subject matter, type of work I am shooting, personal or commercial, I would describe my work as having a dream like quality, organic, romantic, mysterious, physiological and at times times supernatural.
