Pat Kane grew up in an advertising family and talked her way into her first job with that very fact. This pedigree along with considerable street smarts helped her achieve the position of Director of Corporate Communications for a Fortune 300 company at the age of 26. Finding corporate life a little too confining she left the world of suits and group-think a few years later to open a corporate photography business with her soon-to-be husband. Corporations were accustomed to service and Pat thought this was where most freelance photographers fell down.
