For one, all sessions are photographed by Sarah Stevens, owner of Sweet Pea Children’s Portraiture, not hired assistants or students. There is no strict list of poses to be followed for each guest’s session. Just as children are individuals, so are their sessions. Sweet Pea also offers unique portrait ordering options – view and order online (hostess credit is 5 percent of total guest print orders with this option), view online and hostess handles orders and delivery, or host a viewing party where 4x5 proofs are presented and orders are placed at that time. Hostesses choose what works best for them.
